Open-access multidisciplinary journal · Est. 2026
A scholarly journal for the AI era.
Academic Communications is an open-access, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to moving original research from lab notebook to citable record — with less friction, in a venue built for how science is actually done today. Continuous, issue-numbered publication; editorial screening; optional AI-assisted drafting.

Mission
The next generation of scientific publishing should reward the science, not the writing.
Researchers everywhere spend a disproportionate share of their time writing and revising manuscripts — time that belongs to thinking and experimenting. A published paper is, at its core, the presentation layer: a way to show results and communicate with peers. If that layer becomes shorter and more reliable, the science gets back more of its own time.
Traditional journals still take months, sometimes years, to move a finished study from inbox to publication. Preprint servers solved the speed problem — but offer no editorial filter, no scholarly numbering, and no permanent venue for continued citation.
Academic Communications occupies the middle ground. We pair AI-assisted manuscript preparation with editor-led screening and continuous, issue-numbered publication — so that good research reaches readers in days rather than quarters, in a venue that stays citable and discoverable over time.

We welcome empirical, theoretical, computational, and methodological submissions. Interdisciplinary work that does not fit comfortably inside any one of the categories below is especially encouraged — those are precisely the papers most poorly served by field-specific venues.

Process
From submission to citation, in days.
Every manuscript — drafted by hand or through our AI pipeline — moves through the same editorial process. Median end-to-end time is under two weeks.

Submit
Upload a completed manuscript through the author dashboard — or generate a publication-ready first draft through our AI writing pipeline from slides, notes, data, or prior material.
- 02≤ 5 days
Editorial screening
An editor reviews each submission for scope fit, scientific soundness, structure, and ethical integrity. Work outside scope or with methodological red flags is declined early, so authors can move on quickly.
- 03≤ 2 days after acceptance
Publish
Accepted work is assigned a continuously-numbered article ID, receives a permanent DOI, and is released under CC BY 4.0 — citable, discoverable, and indexed the moment it goes live.
For Authors
Two ways to publish with us.
Submit a finished manuscript
Upload your paper in the usual way — PDF, Word, or LaTeX. Our editors handle formatting and style during screening; your job is the science.
Submit manuscriptDraft with the AI writing assistant
Bring your raw materials — slides, data, figures, bullet-point notes — and our integrated assistant produces a publication-structured first draft in minutes. You refine and approve; we submit. Every AI-assisted manuscript is fully disclosed and reviewed under the same standards as any other submission.
